The business owner of Your Animals Best Friend LLC is Sherri
Loomer, a local resident. This Huntington Beach facility
is a 3000 square foot innovative center for dogs with a home-like
environment. When people go on vacation,
why shouldn’t their dogs go on vacation, too?
Your dog will truly be pampered with the same comforts and treats that
they love and expect at home. The Dog
House provides doggie day care, sleep overs, exercise, socialization groups,
the diet they receive at home, and personalized care 24/7, in a non-cage
environment that is clean and safe. All
staff members are certified in animal CPR and First Aid.
Sherri will work with you and your pets to customize your plan of care for success. She explained that “We understand the economy is tough on many people. We are here to provide flexible pet care that works into our clients' budgets. Many pet care facilities lose clients simply because they are not sensitive to their client’s needs and do not adjust their policies to accommodate them. That’s not us—we are very flexible and have been successful because of it.” At the Dog House, clients are considered family, and the staff wants that to be mutual. Their motto is, “We’re here when you need us.”

When Sherri Loomer was young, she always told her mom, “I
want to work with animals.” When she
left a fast-paced, exhausting profession years ago, she began walking
dogs. Sherri has always had a connection
with animals and tries to help them, so working with them seems completely
natural. Dog walking progressed to pet
sitting for all animals and now she is taking a leap of faith to operate the
ultimate dog facility. Sherri is not
just an animal person—she’s also a people person and will quickly put you at
ease about your dog’s care and treatment.
This is truly Sherri’s passion and it’s not difficult to tell that
everyone at the Dog House genuinely loves animals. At the Dog House, dogs rule! Sherri Loomer is licensed, bonded and Insured and Certified through Pet Sitters International. She has placed second on the OC Hotlist for pet sitting, dog walking and boarding. Sherri is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, and works with many community partners and pet rescue groups.
